OPERATIOR ERROR I failed to follow written instructions to hold button down for 2 secs to turn on. My fault, SORRY. Perfect form factor. Everything fits completely inside SLEEK metal tube about 6†long x about 3/4†in diameter - even the phone clamp. STURDY, phone clamp is strong and extension rods appear to be very strong and WELL ENGINEERED.### My ERRONEOUS original review said: Very lightly used since purchase. Probably took no more than 30 photos before it suddenly stopped working on me wile I was using it. I figured the battery died and purchased new ones. They didn't provide any solution. Then I tested the original battery and it tested just fine! Unit has NOT been subject to ANY heavy use or treatment, much less any actual ABUSE.Won't connect via bluetooth anymore. Earlier, the little LED lit up signaling it was connected, and it worked perfectly with my iPhone. Now, my phone can't find a signal from it.When it worked, it was IDEAL! I'm really bummed out by its failure. It is tiny, slim and a neat package when closed. What a loss! ###.I admit I screwed up. Forgetting that I had to hold down the power switch for 2 seconds to turn the unit on was all my faucet. This unit is the best in terms of simplicity, closed-up form factor, price and functionality. The extended length is not the longest but it is good enough for me when combined with all other considerations.

Likes:PriceCompactSimpleSeems relatively sturdy. Only had for a week and haven't used it muchNo issues with bluetooth pairingI didn't have any issues with it turning on accidentally. A long press is required to turn on, but it could if it were stuffed in a backpack.Dislikes:Not long enough. Not much better than using your own arm. Needs another 12"-18".Phone mounting only rotates one direction making portrait selfies no good.Handle surface slippery. You could add some sort of grip tape.Battery cover would be better with some sort of latch/locking mechanism.Final thoughts:Biggest downsides are length and phone mount/rotation.Would I buy this again? No

Performed well for a time, always kept it safe in a drawer and used it maybe a dozen times in two years. One day it wouldn't turn on. Tested battery and it was fresh. Typical Chinese cheap electronics that don't last.

Used it to site see worked great for looking over the ledges and getting aerial shots . Since it doesn’t pass security have to put it In a checked bagged and also unable to take into a game . It’s a sturdy metal and really worked with no issues connecting
