It's a MIDI cable. Quality seems good, it's flexible, and it works (used with a Rockband 3 MIDI USB adapter for the WII).

I’m using this cable to control a fog machine from a DMX controller, and it works for that purpose with no problems.The price was right, and the quality seems pretty good as well. I’m hoping I have no issue with the ends breaking off like I saw in other reviews, especially since I am gentle when using and storing my cables.

I used this cable to create a custom TRS 1/4" to MIDI cable. The internal wires are super fine 28 gauge so it was challenging to get the 1/4" TRS plug soldered up. Other than that, it works as advertised. Can't complain for the price. ;-)
