Our son recently adopted a flock of egg laying hens and built a small coop for them to roost in. We bought and gifted this little weathervane for him to mount on the roof of the coop. It's very sturdy cast aluminum with proportional directionals crowned with a rooster silhouette on top of the arrow pointer. It's decorative and fairly sensitive to breezes.

Bought as a present for my wife. She loves it. It adds a nice 'charm' to the house. We have a lot of animals (including chickens), so we joke that our house is a 'farm'. Works pretty well, easy installation.

We were hesitant to purchase because of the price but don’t let that stop you. This weathervane is the real deal. Solid construction with detailed easy to follow instructions. You absolutely cannot go wrong. Perfect for our little “chicken mansionâ€.
