There is so much good I can say about this set!First, I want to say how pleased I am with the quality of the individual pieces. Excellent quality of wood, beautifully painted with beautiful colors. The grid board is also excellently made. It is solid and nice.I love that there is a lot of different shapes of the pieces and the number of pieces that comes with it. We use the cards to create the various designs that came with the set. But we also enjoy creating our own creations. This is such a great tool to use to help children learn their shapes, matching abilities, counting, colors, and especially learn how to be creative. The kids are having so much fun with it they don't even realize that it is an educational item. We love this item and highly recommend it!

These bright colored blocks attract kids and they don’t realize they are using critical thinking while “playingâ€. It is often put out as a center in the clinic and the children even often use it almost like a game. It is a fun alternative to puzzles and the quality of the pieces are decent for the price.

I’m a teacher- this would be better used to start the basic concept of graphing for 5-6 year old. The little cards are more difficult for younger and struggling children. I have an advanced toddler and the concept of looking at one place and doing something in another to complete it is still too difficult. He will use it as appropriate in about a year or more

The set is pretty awesome!You get 20 boards for the kids to get creative with and contains over 100 shapes with different colors. The kids can make what is shown on the board by following the patterns.These can be cleaned easily with a wipe of a damp cloth.A great deal for a simplistic educational toy.

This is a really cool toy. You get a wooden grid, a bunch of brightly colored pieces with different shapes, and a pile of cards. The cards all have a picture of a grid on them, along with a design that you can create by adding the brightly colored shapes to the actual wooden grid. My 7 and 4 year old kids enjoyed it, but I did too. It’s well-made, and there are a lot of options. This is fun and good for learning shapes, counting, colors, spatial abilities, and more.

This Montessori tangram set is fantastic! The 120 colorful puzzle blocks and 20 pattern cards keep my nephew & niece engaged, helping them learn shapes and colors in a fun, hands-on way. The quality of the wooden pieces is great, and it’s the perfect educational gift for kids ages 3 and up. Highly recommend for any young learner!

This is a very nice tangram board, the way it works is you draw a card and then you use the shapes to replicate the design on the board. The board and its pieces are a little small, so your kid needs a bit of fine motor ability to use them successfully. While everything is a great quality this can be frustrating for little kids or those with poor motor coordination. The other thing I noticed was this is an intermediate set which means there are no extremely simple or easy designs to start with. If you keep that in mind when purchasing this item it shouldn't be an issue.
