The MONVICT 100W Cordless Glue Gun is an impressive tool for those who need a reliable, heavy-duty hot glue gun, especially if you're already using a Milwaukee 18V battery. This glue gun is designed to be a cordless solution, making it perfect for tackling projects around the house or on the go, where access to power outlets might be limited. One of the standout features is the digital temperature adjustability, which allows you to set the perfect temperature for your project, whether you're working with delicate materials or need a higher heat for stronger adhesive bonds. This is a step up from the typical fixed-temperature glue guns, giving you more control and precision. The 100W power means the glue gun heats up quickly and delivers a strong adhesive flow, which is fantastic for both professional work and DIY projects. It comes with 10 glue sticks, so you won’t have to worry about running out of supplies too soon.

So HEADS UP! this DOES NOT come with a battery but is made to fit several different common electric tool batteries. I did not realize this and had to purchase a $60 battery and charger for it. And that’s cheap! So be sure before you order you select the model that will match your battery and if you don’t have a battery just know this doesn’t come with one and an additional def over 50 dollar purchase will be necessary to get one. Is it worth it? Is it worth it to slam a battery into the glue gun like it’s a clip of ammo then watch this baby rocket to 200 degrees and then walk, unencumbered or tied down by a short little cord plugged into the wall like some crazed craft corner Rambo popping out from behind ribbon racks and bolts of fabric ready to solve any hot glue emergency that may arise? Yes. Yes it is. The gun, although it does feel a bit light and thin plastic-ey heats up quickly and has a pressure sensitive hand grip trigger so you can control the flow of glue where ever you need. It takes the large glue sticks and they include a few with the gun. The digital display is bright and responds fairly quickly. Call me old fashioned but I get nervous when digital elements are involved because, as with this, if the digital element goes out- the gun won’t work even if the gun is still working. One thing about the plug in type, you plug it in and it’s on you unplug it it’s off. This one you have to go through the digital little keys to turn it on and up or lower the heat but OH THE FREEDOM! It gives me that same vibe I got when I got a label maker and labeled everything in the house. Now I lurk about behind bedroom doors or against book cases looking for areas might need a bit of hot glue and baby, with this monster, I’m on it!

I got just the glue sticks. They worked well in my own glue gun. They were just like any other glue stick pretty much, so not much to say except they glue things well and aren't too messy.

Glue gun is much larger and more substantial than a corded one but the cordless convenience is well worth it.I like the temperature display far more than I thought I would. It's easy to read and keeps you informed on the status of the glue, the temperature drops as you dispense and you see when it reaches temperature again, the adjustable temperature is such a nice feature to have as well.It reaches temperature fairly quickly, a couple of minutes for the initial heating and 15-20 seconds after dispensing. If you leave it on long enough, a tiny glue bead does start to form, but this is leaving it 5+ minutes, and the glue isn't exactly running out, it's just a glue bead about the diameter of the nozzle poking out. Not really an issue, just something I noticed.

The glue gun works well and has a useful temperature range. There are some quirks to get used to with it but nothing major. First, the battery doesn't slide onto the gun unless you squeeze the tabs that I normally use to remove the battery from my tools. The other quirks are not really quirks if you read the directions but to turn on the gun, you need to long press the power button. If you don't long-press the power button, you might think it doesn't work so be mindful and read the directions. Finally, if you have small hands this gun might not be the most comfortable. My hand from the base of my palm to my trigger finger is 7.5 inches and I think it is just barely big enough to use the trigger comfortably.

I expected this glue gun to be a bit heavier than it is. All of it is made of plastic except the tip where the glue comes out. I'm going to assume the heating unit is in that tip because every other part of it is hollow, all the way from the tip down to the battery holder. All plastic, like a toy.The included mini instructions does not mention anything about adjusting the temperature. I had to look around to find the power button and the + and - buttons for those temperature adjustments. There are 10 - 3/8 inch diameter X 6 inches long size glue sticks.Since it does not come with a battery and I do not have that type of battery I cannot test it's work-ability.

This glue gun works perfectly! I love that it operates with a Milwaukee 18v battery which eliminates cords and the need to find an outlet to plug in to. Convenient and versatile! My 6-yr old granddaughter used it for about an hour making craft creations and I've been able to use it for basic household repairs by walking around fixing things while not trying to find an outlet and extension cord. Couldn't be happier with this and I would highly recommend it to anyone who has Milwaukee 18v batteries to use it with!

This is exactly as described and it did work with the rechargeable battery as it said, which was nice I ordered this because I was sick of my husband always taking my glue gun out to the garage and using it it doesn’t look or feel any better than a craft store glue gun but it has seem to hold up for the little things that we wanted to use it for the rechargeable battery for them out in the garage has been really helpful not needing to plug anything in or buy anything extra for it
