The track bar was a direct replacement and worked perfectly as it should. You can stop here if that’s all you needed to know. The rest is why I came to that conclusion. I tell it in all my reviews, I am just a Joe Schmoe giving my review. I’m not paid or endorsed by any of the schmucks selling these products. I just like to tell people when I’m surprised with a purchase either good or bad. My truck had a quarter turn of play in the steering wheel and wandered all over the road. I replaced all steering components and ball joints and still did it. I honestly thought I replaced the track bar when I did the steering component, but then remembered they were out of stock. I finally changed the component that has the name of the problem in its name and it fixed it. Drives like a new truck. Just fyi, the other stuff was worn as well. The truck has 342k miles on it. This is an excellent replacement part. It is exactly what you expect to get when you buy a direct replacement. The fit was exactly the same. I didn’t jack the truck up. I pulled two bolts, pulled the bar, slid the new one in its place and the bolts slid home perfectly. That means the length was exactly the same or I would have had to rock it to line it up. The thickness was exact as well. Slid in the pocket and held there while I put the bolts in just like the factory setup. I don’t get my hopes up for stuff to work like it should, so when it happens my joy is at least double what it used to be in my younger year, since being exposed to all the China junk with its horrible QA process. This is an absolute recommended buy.

When I first installed it, it seemed like it was a 1/2 inch too short.I needed to use a ratchet strap connected to the frame on the driver side and the axle on the passenger side and use the ratchet to tighten the strap, to bring the holes into alignment. After replacement, I had to have a front-end alignment as well. Torque the bolts to 150ft/lbs.This fixed my 3rd gen Dodge death wobble on a 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 4x4.

Replacing the entire bar was easy and much quicker that trying to replace old hardened bushings imo. Some people said the bolt holes didn't line up, but if you return the wheels to center after attaching the right side. Every thing lined up. Helps my steering track Much better, but need an alignment to finish the job right. Well worth the investment to fix wondering steering problems.

Ordered for my truck. This is the correct part for a 2003 ram 2500 4x4 diesel, verified on multiple other sites like rockauto and Mopar parts sites. The Moog track bar was made incorrectly and is too short for my vehicle. Regardless of which bolt I install first, the other hole is misaligned with the hole in the mounting bracket on the truck. I measured center to center of the bolt holes on my factory track bar and this Moog track bar and the Moog is exactly 1/8" shorter, and that's exactly what I see when I try to bolt it up. I didn't catch this before the return window expired, unfortunately. I've reached out to Moog separately and hope they will make this right because it's likely just a quality control issue. Maybe Moog will see my review here and take care of this for me. Sure would be nice, as I rebuilt the entire front end of my truck with all Moog parts!
