So far I have replaced the idler arm bracket, idler arm, pitman arm, end links, tie rods/ends and sway bar bushings with Moog parts. I am blown away by the quality, fit and performance of these parts. Huge change from stock and they are serviceable. Honestly, I’m becoming a Moog addict with new parts arriving regularly for my 2005 Suburban z71 project. Every single part I change offers a noticeable difference in ride quality and the price is always right.

You’ll pay more than double to get this product from a parts store! Same product but I got both of these for less than one at the part stores. Save the money!

Moog is top quality suspension parts, the tie rods are great and they installed very easily on my 05 silverado 1500. The problem is the grease boots though. The tie rods I got both had boots that did not seat all the way and slowly leak the grease out the bottom over time, I expected a little more and for them not to leak right away, but other than that, solid replacement tie rods!

2/18/24-BIG Update: Changed out the Moog for Delphi. When I removed the Moog tie rod ends, there was NOTHING wrong with them! Excess grease had leaked out from under the boot. The boots were a little wrinkled where they were compressed but not torn and looked great. Changed out for nothing, another bad move, lol.. The Moog are even beefier than the Delphi by about 10 to 15%. I now have an extra set. Sorry Moog. I'm back on the Moog train. Also, the MOOG center tie rods are beefier than the Stock ones too. Thanks Moog for some good, better than stock Chevy parts.Previous comment- (Purchased on May 25, 2022 for my 2003 Chevy Tahoe. Didn't last 2 years, only about 26,000 miles (I'm retired.) On Jan 27, 2024 I had to work on my shocks and just looked at the boot and there was grease leaking out from underneath on the drivers side. The boot separated from the housing. Checked the passenger side and that boot was also damaged. I could see a conspicuous hole where it rubbed on the spindle mount. Very disappointed with Moog. Reputation was just destroyed in my book. Going back to A/C Delco from now on. Had the original tie rods for 275,000 miles with no leaks. Just replaced them because they were old. Bad move. Bye, Bye Moog.)

Fit great, quality sub par. I replaced both sides inner and outer tie rod ends on my 05 Avalanche and both the initial outers had defects. The grease boot on one wasn’t properly installed allowing grease to get out and the other had the grease nipple pull right out of the top of the housing when I removed the grease gun. Just finished putting two identical replacement parts on and had no problems with either of them, so I guess it’s 50/50 on quality. Not too impressed with what I got from Moog though as I had to reorder 3 out of 6 of their items due to defect and 1 of the 3 also had a defect.
