This belt is thick and wide. It’s weathered looking a bit from the washing process. Was a bit stiff but breaks in nicely. The stitching was straight. I’m 5’10 34waist and the 300cm was just perfect. I bought both the 280 and 300 size due to the reviews. The 280 was the same length, maybe 3†longer, but was too short after tying the obi. My old belt was 280 and fit as it was of lesser quality and the obi was smaller, but this belt won’t fit if you buy the same size. I’m glad I went up a size as it’s perfect and very comfortable to wear. This will be the last belt I own as it’s such high quality.

This is a great belt. It has a good quality, probably a little wider for me but it is ok. I would recommend it.

The belt was a great buy. This is the first time I’ve ever ordered one of Mooto’s belts, but clearly they put the same craftsmanship into their belts as they do their uniforms! I really like the weathered look the belt has. Better than that, my embroidery guy said the fabric was very easy to work with to add my name and rank.

It's been a couple years since I've trained so I need to bump up a size. This belt looks and feels great, but is certainly not the 280cm that I ordered or that's indicated on the box or the tag. 102in is barely 260cm. It's no longer than my previous belt. Can barely begin to get it tied. Not gonna work.

It is very stiff but all you need to do is twist it really tight a few times and it's good to go.

I grew up with Tigerclaw belts from white belt all the way up to my 2nd Dan in Taekwondo. Tigerclaw used to have some the best belts in the market but they changed their quality recently. The black belts feel very cheap and flimsy. The Mooto Do belt feels just like my favorite old Tigerclaw black belt, and the pre-wash gives it a nice broken-in feel with the worn look. Brought it to a local embroidery place to add my name and rank bars. Definitely has that old-fashioned sturdiness I missed in my old Tigerclaw belts.

This is a thick belt that really seems like it will last. The overall feel and quality is well worth the price. However, the belt will not be immaculate - I had to return the first one for having too many threads sticking out and broken stitches, and the replacement that I received still had a thread sticking out and a skipped stitch. I kept the second one, but I gotta knock off a star for these flaws in the belts I received. I've purchased belts for less than $15 that did not have these flaws.
