So after watching a video on how to do this I absolutely could not believe how easy it was to put in. What ever you do... DO NOT PUT THE Retention pin until you have it installed. After getting it installed I could not get the Jeep to back out of the garage. So what did I do.. well I took it off and started over. Getting the retention pen back inward a little bit of a pain but I got it and installed it one more time. I tested the emergency brake one more time and it seemed to work however I could not get the Jeep to back out of the garage. After working the problem one more time I figured it out. After removing the wheel chocks it was amazing that the jeep just backed out of the garage without any problems. Stupid moment on my part. The installation should only take 15 mins minus the wheel chocks. Very easy install and it saved my over $500 that the dealership wanted for the same installation.

Would fit jk s but still a sloppy loose feeling, the parking brake will actually begin to tense-engage only when is topped

Very straight forward installation, only took about 15 minutes to install with basic hand tools. I finally have a functioning parking brake. I highly surest buying this vs new cables. I made the mistake of ordering new cables when that wasn’t the issue. It was only this part causing the issue.
