I bought this fluid for my 2013 RAM 1500 with the BW 44-44. This is the only fluid you can use on that. The service manual says 1.4 liters or 3 pints capacity. That's exactly what mine took, so buy two bottles of this and you'll have a little left over. A very easy job if you know what you're doing. 20 minutes or less.

Good stuff. 2 quarts is just enough for the BW44-46. This stuff sure stinks. Wish they were cheaper, or had a no-risk aftermarket equivalent. 30k mile change seemed early. Sticking with the book recommendation of 60k is a better idea for next time.

This is the only brand available to change the transfer case fluid in the Borg Warner unit, but it is the factory brand so can't complain. Price is still a little steep on a per quart basis.

Expensive but is OEM fluid for the BW 44-44 transfer case. Same color as original fluid. Kinda reddish in color like trans fluid
