I fitted out my camping van with solar panels; and this thru-connector was the only way I could run the heavy cable through the metal floor of the van. Drill a hole slightly smaller than the nylon insulator, then use a metal rasp to clean up the metal to fit. This prevents the connector from turning as you tighten it. I've had no problems at all using these connectors in the past year; and I live in one of the foggiest places in the country where sea air causes problems with everything electric.

Don't over tighten!!! When tightening down on the nut, the lug moves and feels as if it's going to separate from the fitting.

Works as advertised, center stud does move longitudinally and twist a tid bit, but otherwise good quality, I used needle-nose pliers to tighten the outside ring (there's probably a proper tool to do this, but there ya go).

These things are great. Perfect for the secondary battery install in my land cruiser. I was hoping to keep the connections to the dual battery solenoid in the back fender weather resistant and these terminals were the perfect solution.
