This gasket feels like quality and you can depend on it. Installed it with the Moroso pan and it was an absolutely perfect seal and fit. I would 100% use this again and recommend it to anyone. Put it on and forget about it, no worries about it leaking.

Put this on my 99 Exhibition (5.4L with 4r100) when I upgraded the trans pan to an oversized Derale pan. I'm glad I bought this instead of counting on Derale to supply a quality gasket. Don't get me wrong, they supplied one with the pan, but it was a cheap, thin, rubber gasket. This gasket is THICK, with metal inserts around the bolt holes. Definitely the quality I have become accustomed to from Moroso.

I switched all of my gaskets on my F352 Maroso gaskets and they are amazing. Have you ever seen a 7.3 L power stroke diesel with no oil or transmission leaks? Well come look at mine and you will.

Did not over torque drain pan bolts but this gasket is already leaking three weeks after installation on my Ford E4OD. It's being used on a high quality brand new transmission pan. To be fair I think you need a transmission pan with a flat machined pan lip surface rather than the typical pressed steel or aluminum design. But I can see where one edge of the gasket is splitting and that is where the leak is occurring. Will replace with a typical rubberized cork gasket and Honda gasket sealant. That usually eliminates leaks for years. On the other hand, it's a Ford product so fixing leaks is pretty much a full time hobby :). Three stars for high quality product that might need more detail in the description about proper use cases before a customer orders it.

Doesnt leak the first installation, but these are NOT reusable. They will tear and leak upon re-installation.

I have a 4r100 transm pan on my e4od bc of the drain plug. The rubber/cork fel-pro gasket i used for the swap split n leaked after a couple of years. This gasket sealed everything perfectly, and i doubt it will ever leak.

Used it on a e4od transmission f150 1993, it fits perfectly, even give a good look with the blue color from the outside. Good product, look very resistant, bolts holes were a perfect match.
