Entering and exiting your RV is now easier and safer with the Safe-T-Rail by MORryde. The factory installed folding door handle doesn’t provide enough support for most RVers. However, the MORryde Safe-T-Rail replaces the factory handle and provides a secure, continuous rail surface to support you all the way up and down your entry steps.

Will the Safe-T-Rail Fit Your RV?
Step 1 - Step Well Trim Interference
If there is any trim around the fold out step well, the Safe-T-Rail will not fit or function properly unless it is removed.
Step 2 - Slide Out Interference
If the slide out is closer than 4.25" to the outer edge of the door, the Safe-T-Rail will not fit or function properly
Step 3 - Awning Arm Interference
If the awning bracket is closer than 2.25" to the edge of the door frame and lower than 38" from the bottom of the door, the rail will not fit or function properly.
Step 4 - Window Interference
If a window is closer than 2.25" to the outer door frame and less than 38" from the bottom of the door, the Safe-T-Rail will not fit or function properly.
Step 5 - Check Door Space
A flat unobstructed space of at least 1.875" under the door is required to mount the lower bracket. If a minimum 1.875" does not exist, the bracket will not fit or function properly
Step 6 - Trim Seal
Note that the trim seal between the skirt metal and the wall will have to be cut out for the rail to sit flat against the wall.
Step 7 - Measure
Once it has been determined that the space required for the Safe-T-Rail is clear, measure from the bottom of the door to the top of the lend-a-hand currently on the unit:
- If the measurement is 38" or less, use the smaller top bracket for installation
- If the measurement is 38" to 51", use the larger top bracket for installation

Very easy to install, only took my husband thirty minutes. If you didn't know it didn't come already on the camper you would never know. Very sturdy helps get in and out of the camper without feeling like you are going to fall. Folds up with ease when not in use.

I removed the ridiculous handle on the my Lippert stairs and mounted this on the RV. Way better, very easy install. I did have to remove a small piece of moulding that covered the outer wall seam, a dremel made quick work of that. 100% silicone sealant was injected into each hole to mount, and the whole thing just works, and is outside the stair footprint. It's stout to for some support. Pretty much anything from MORRyde is gonna be good!

I replaced the standard travel trailer handrail that folded sideways against the trailer with this new SafeTRail and it has a much improved stability and longer handrail for getting into the coach. I love the way it folds down instead of against the trailer door (always blocked the door when traveling). Secures with a locking pin at the bottom to prevent it from deploying during travel.Very easy to install with the right tools and fits in the same space as the old handrail . . .I would recommend this handrail to anyone that wants a more stable handrail to prevent falls

I installed this product on my 2023 Grand Design Reflection 320MKS fifth wheel camper. It is a sturdy hand rail and being that it extends farther out from the camper, it gives you a hand hold from the first step all the way up into the camper. I’m getting old and this is a welcome addition. Installation was fairly easy. I do all my own mechanic work and am pretty handy. The instructions for this install are not clear and concise. I watched YouTube install videos to get a better idea of the chain of events for installation. The install is fairly straightforward and taking your time will give you a better fit and finish. The most difficult step in my particular installation was cutting a piece of trim to accommodate the increased overall length of this hand rail. I used a battery powered flush cut tool and received a very nice fit and finish there. Using the handrail is easy and provides a very secure hand hold. My only complaint and this is probably more related to layout of my Reflection is I cannot just walk up and open the RV door. The door handle on my Reflection is about 7 feet off the ground so with the ladder extended as well as the hand rail, I cannot just walk up and open the door. I have to step up one step on the ladder to do so. This is a little thing that is inconvenient for me and not a design or install issue. Overall, I love this modification and would highly recommend it for older RVers or travelers with small children.

Easy to install, great item. One option aI think would be nice, is maybeoffer in a lighter color. The black in AZ sun gets hot enough to fry eggs, but they keep sliding off.

Every and I mean every travel trailer needs this and should be mandatory! Must have for safety. I slipped and trip to ER and 7 staples later prompted this. I can’t say enough good things about this amazing product.Very easy install and easy read instructions.

As I and my wife get older we still enjoy boondocking camping and these steps really help us get in and out of our fifth wheel . Very sturdy and nice grip if your young or old this handle is a very good accessory .

It is well made but not compatible with all RV/Campers.Make sure you have space for this product all the way to the bottom of your door. If you have outdoor storage flaps it will not work as placing above the storage area will make the rail too high unless you are close to 7 feet tall. RETURNS ARE AT YOUR OWN EXPENSE AND THERE IS A RESTOCKING FEE MAKING IT CoST MORE TO RETURN THAN KEEP.I would have given 5 stars, if I had been able to return it.
