My cat is a pretty messy eater so use an old cookie sheet for her tray and put her food dish on it to keep from having to clean the floor. This was better but I still had to clean the cookie sheet. These place mats are the perfect size to fit and much easier just to rinse off in the sink. Perfect solution and perfect price.

I got the beige, which is the perfect color for my kitchen but anything tomato based will stain it. Not even my tried and true Tide spot remover pen is doing the trick. It'll fade but not completely get the stain out.For aesthetics this works great for me. But it's thin. The weaving will allow spills to seep through, so it's not really protecting from that perspective. I still like it though.

I returned these Mosayt woven heat resistant place mats when I saw what they looked like in the package. Crumbs & food can easily get into the woven material. Material would be hard to wipe clean. They are also very thinly made.
