Nothing too exciting here. They are just standard screw in studs. These are needed for most aftermarket axle shafts. I believe the shafts are too hard to use a press in stud and this is why they use screw in. As a side not, the picture is of a press in style stud but these are in fact screw in style. The have threads all of the way to the head (and a hex head too) not a knurled shoulder as shown in the picture.

If they would make a stud that screws in from the front, and has a shoulder to torque it on, I would get those at twice the price. These work but you have to pull the axle to replace.
