This is just what they claim, a live swivel. I have a small power washer to clean vehicles and the hose always gets loops as I move around a vehicle. I've tugged on the hose before to get more reach and those loops have flipped up and hit the vehicle. I purchased a cheaper swivel which doesn't swivel very easily and it allowed a loop to flip up and hit the side of my black car. I purchase this that day. It swivels so smooth under pressure. You can turn the washer nozzle like turning the volume on the radio. The hose doesn't get loops as badly and when I pull they just unwind because the nozzle allows the hose to rotate freely. I wouldn't consider this a must have item. You can live without it as long as you are careful. If you are considering one to make life easier, this is the one to buy.

Well not sure if it matters, but the one I have says made in usa. Not Switzerland. Hope it's made with quality parts of original.

First off you can see the tool marks, then the threads have burrs and are sharp, the hexagonal center looks roughed out compared to the machined Swiss made versions. I wont be surprised if these leak sooner and am not sure that these are rebuildable. I think they had kits for them a while ago. This is so unfortunate but typical. Cheaper to make in the USA but the US quality is typically not up to Swiss standards / culture. I would of thought this was made in China. Very sad. I will look for one next time i am in Europe and hope that my older Swiss made version holds up.

The swivel turns so easily under pressure compared to the cheaper alternatives, it feels like I wasted money buying the cheaper stuff. This is my go to from now no.

The original MOSMATIC is made in SWITZERLAND. and as shown in the pic you should receive the one that is made in SWITZERLAND. but what you receive is NOT Made in SWITZERLAND. it's made in USA.

I tried using my stubby pressure washer gun set-up with out this and was constantly fighting with the hose to point it where i wanted to, after adding this i can rotate it at full pressure, 3200psi, with my fingertips, definitely worth every penny
