I am a firm believer in the no potting medium when it comes to orchids. I have kept the same orchids for 6+ years this way but having them sit in plain airated pots seemed boring to me. So I got these for them instead. I put the orchids roots into the ball opening and filled it with Leca to add some stability without worrying about excess moisture around the roots. One I placed in a macrame plant hanger and the other I used some floral wire to hang on the wall. These were my experiments and they are thriving. I will be buying more for my other orchids for sure!

My leopard gecko loves it! He hides in in daily, looks nice in his cage and even has a hook if you want to hang it! Decent size for my gecko

I bought this for my crested geckos bio active terrarium. It works great with 70-80 humidity. I think it’s great for the price, I ordered the larger one thinking that it was going to be smaller but it was bigger than expected but turned out great. I like how it looks and you can use it in a lot of different ways. The only thing I had a slight issue with was it came with a small sharp metal piece sticking out, but I sorta sanded it down and used tape and the moss to cover it just to make sure it was safe. It turned out great and he like to hang from it.

I returned mine. It giant and came from chine. I didnt trust it to not make my gecko sick =[I was disappointed.

bought two of these for a baby gargoyle gecko. She loves sitting on top of them, but doesn't seem want to go in. the moss is an odd texture that i wasn't expecting (i think its just dyed moss for craft projects) and its an almost unnatural shade of green. lightweight, so if they fall I'm not worried about it hurting my gecko. the moss is wrapped tightly around a wire frame, and the inside is very soft. no exposed sharp wire from what i could find. they look good in the enclosure though, just not great functionality wise. if you want an actual hide, buy a cork round.
