Pros:- The lights are easy to install. I opted to simply stick them to the wood with the sticky tape provided.- They stay on all night without issue, so long as they get enough sunlight during the day.- The motion activation works very well. The extra brightness provided when they sense motion is surprising.- The sticky tape option works surprisingly well. We have one accident when scooping snow off the steps with one of them. But the rest are holding strong through many snow storms, rain and strong wind.Cons:- My ONLY con is that they don't come with extra sticky tape for accidents that might happen.

Unobtrusive but bright lights for deck stairs. Motion detection works well. Easy to install and the lights help the dog see the stairs betters . Seem to be holding up but have to see how the winter goes as rain has been pretty scarce. Moderately priced

This is a great idea for safely lighting entry steps at night. I especially like the lights being on dim until I approach, and then getting brighter.The only problem is that how long they run depends on available sunlight at each location used. At my home, one is in direct sun all day and stays on all night. Others are almost never in direct sunlight, and go dark within an hour or two each night.I haven't tried fastening the lights in place permanently, as my HOA might not approve, but most have stayed exactly in place now anyway for months.Recommended.

These work very well. I can't speak to the battery longevity yet but they are bright and have held up through rain which is a major relief. They dim slightly when idle but light up fairly bright when you get close. For me (after a month), they last through the night and auto shut off when the sun comes out.

Look great and motion sensors work well too. Of course there are a few in each box that don't work properly or at all. Buy extra if you want this item. I wish I had returned, but oh well.

I bought this one and another bigger ones (different brand) to be put on the outdoor stairs. This tiny light is so good, it will become brighter temporarily if someone pass by (some time I think it gets brighter a bit late, but it's not a big deal). I ended up buying two more of this package to completely cover my stairs and the garage area.

The latest guys work good at night, However in the early morning when it’s dark they do Not work.Very Disappointing.
