These are clearly inferior to the stock parts. I installed these when I rejetted my carbs as the originals were hardening from age after 23 years. They seemed TOO soft, but I put them in and all was well for a while.The vibration eventually caused the edge of the hose clamps to dig into the soft rubber in multiple places even though much care was taken not to tighten them too much. One split in the middle, so they were failing in multiple ways. Replaced with original Honda parts and all is well now. Also, note that the original clamps are 10000x better than using hose clamps on carb boots.These cost me a lot of down time and frustration, all for convenience and saving a couple bucks... Do not waste your time with these unless it's just an immediate temporary need to get on the road.

Replacing the original, hardened manifolds with these flexible ones made installing the carberators quick and easy!

If I had to recommend a set of intake boots to replace your. worn intake boots. I would highly recommend MOTO. Ive had these installed for well over a month. I've had to remove me carbs a couple of times to reheat them. Most boots tear after carb removal. These boots seem to be built to last a lifetime. In the near future anytime I need replacement parts for my bike. I hope that MOTO has a part to replace it with

First time writing a review in a while but these fit a 01 shadow ace 750 just fine. Came with all the clamps and they work fine. Install tip is to add just a smeer of grease to the inside of the boots and they slip together beautifully. No more back fire at idle and runs fine.

1999 shadow ace 750 - The boots themselves seem okay, though I feel like their quality would make them fail far sooner than OEM. Had them on for a few weeks, they've worked well but as I've had to tighten the boots as time passes, the clamps just grenade. Buy steel band clamps and don't use the included ones because these ones will shred.Edit: they failed. Get OEM.

I second guessed my purchase as soon as I received these and felt the quality. Unfortunately it was 1 week after the return window when I installed them otherwise I would have returned them. They fit perfect but after 3 rides of a total of about 25 miles my bike started coughing and backfiring. A little spray of ether proved that both boots developed tears which created severe vacuum leaks. This was not due to any misalignment or incorrect installation, it was due to the product quality and I have plenty of experience removing and installing these on my VT750DC over the years. The boots fit great but the clamps are horrible and the boots are very flimsy which I believe is why they tore being so thin and caused by the vibration. I definitely dont recommend these boots for a Honda Shadow 750.
