I had to have a duplicate key made for this but it couldn’t be done because the key was not really on a ford key so I had to go through the key blanks until I found a key blank that had the same grooves I had to cut the duplicate key on a Chrysler key blank if you are as anal as I am about that stuff you probably won’t want to start your Ford with a Chrysler key but if not just beware that you will need to check the key blanks before you have it cut if you are going to have a duplicate made and also the lock cylinder pins are not very good if you put any Chrysler key into the lock cylinder all you have to do is give it a little jiggle and it will unlock the ignition and start so caution with that

Thus was difficult to install. Followed instructions and it would absolutely not turn when in the column.Returned - which went smooth.

Easy to install but antitheft alarm comes on so it won’t work you have to take it to a dealership to have the keys program to your vehicle
