The split design makes these very easy to install, no need to tear it all the way down or try to split it with a razor. Make sure you use some grease on the inside and the outside. If you dont steering will be overly tight

Went on okay, with grease! Fit good and corrected my sloppy steering. Also came as a 2 pack so I have a spare if I ever need another.
