I had a problem with overheating past 3000RPM. I've gone through just about all cooling components and this might've done it.I don't wanna celebrate too early but I did a couple of test drives and that temp gauge is not moving away from middle!Give it a try if it makes sense to you.

This cap actually worked great. My car was overheating and we were trying everything possible to fix it. Replacing the cap was one of many reasons it could be overheating. We thought this was solution cuz awhile back my fiancé lost the cap that car came with & we had a friend who gave us one off an extra car he had. So I was totally convinced this was the problem since it wasn’t original cap. Unfortunately it wasn’t and it still overheated with this cap on it. I did like this cap though especially where it has the red thing to lock it down. I ended up returning it because it wasn’t the issue & I couldn’t afford at the time to waste money on something I didn’t actually need. If I ever need to replace the cap on the car I have now I will definitely repurchase this one.
