Does not fit 2010 Explorer 4.0. I did not buy to use on my Explorer. Used for other purpose to test how glue/E600 and epoxy adhere to it when attaching a drinking straw sized metal tube thru it. The glue worked great and the epoxy on top of it served to strengthen the connection and seal it. No leak between metal tube and cap. Sturdy, strong connection. 2010 [and probably 2006 thru 2009 also] uses BRFC7 cap.I will now use "extra" BRFC7 cap and put metal tube thru it so unit can be placed on brake master cylinder so "bleeder pump" hose can be attached to the metal tube and used. Couldn't find 2010 Explorer cap that would attach to cylinder so made DIY device.

Perfect fit. I had previously gone to Autozone to buy one of these and they did not even show that they could get one. They told me I would have to go to a Ford dealer. This was much less expensive.

Factory Ford replacement cap. Mine was damaged so I bought this and it works perfectly and it was a great price too. Much more affordable than local parts stores.
