Worked as advertised. VERY easy to install, took me longer to get my tools out of my tool cabinet, clean off, and put back than replacing this part! Our 2000 Ford Expedition (AKA Barn/Feed vehicle) is back on the road cruising along so wife is happy. As a side note; having an OBD II has been one of the best investments I have made in Auto Parts.

My 2004 Lincoln Navigator check engine light appeared. The code read Small Evap leak (P0456 I believe). I started with replacing the gas cap but had no luck. So I ordered this part. Installation was super easy .. Disconnect the negative terminal on the battery (so no sparks cause a fire from the fuel vapor hoses attached to this part). Loosen both bolts on old unit about halfway. Disconnect the electrical wire, the vacuum hose and both hoses running to the manifold. Remove the bolts completely and take unit out. Replace and reverse steps to install. Took me all of 10 minutes and was a happy camper when I turned the truck on and the engine light was off! Fast delivery and did the job. This is the second component they suggest you change out for an Evaporative Emission System Leak. The first is the gas tank cap, which after replacing did not clear the Check Engine Light. This one exactly matched my original including a test port. Install was quick and that Check Engine Light has not raised its ugly head in 5,000 miles2003 Expedition XLT with 213,000 miles
