Factory replacement work out better for me. I had an off brand set and they were too sort. Amazon had Motorcraft and they were cheaper than local store. I also notice this set was a little longer, making it easer to install. My explorer is running good. Very happy with my purchase.

These are oem and fit just fine. The price was a lot better than any local parts stores.

Hard to tell this early. Has not driven in that much heat or rain yet but no problems so far and seems to run smooth. However it was running well before. My son just thought it was time to change them since they were the original with over 100,000 miles. What can I say.

my explorer has 141K after reading through explorer forums i decided to do the plus wires and fuel filter. all these should show a good change in fuel economy.that being said i had these put in by a mechanic along with Bosch 4505 IR fusion plugs. i have owned my truck for three years and been meticulous with oil changes and since i did not know the previous owner i figured it was time to change the wires and plugs.since having them put in i noticed right away that there is no hesitation on start ups. before i did the plugs and wires sometimes it would sound like it didnt want to turn over (brand new battery).its only been about a week since i got them put in and i just filled up the explorer. before the plugs and wires i was getting 13.7 mpg avg. ill update this with my next fill up.overall i can feel the difference in my truck and love it.

I bought the Motorcraft wires thinking they would have some quality control. My number 6 wire started sparking after changing to another plug in the set engine running better. As I checked coil connector I was shocked every time I got near the coil connector!?!

I had to use one old wire because one wire wasn't long enough. I've had this issue before with plug wires.
