I guess this is a case of, "you get what you pay for," which, of course, is fairly rare in this day and age when you get crap but paid handsomely for it. This item costs noticeably more than other options, but I'm glad I paid it. I opened the shipping box to find a genuine Motorcraft Ford part! It's identical to the original pump. The only difference is the original said, "Made in China" - this new one says, "Made in Mexico." It fit perfectly and so far is working as expected. I love it!Another note, I saw some videos showing how to remove the plastic covering under the hood and then the grill, and then the headlamp, which is crazy. I also saw instructions to remove the inner fender cover, which is also crazy. On my 2017 F-250, just reach down at the front of the water reservoir and find the electrical connection. Press the little tab and unhook it.Next, reach toward the bottom of the pump and unhook the rubber water tube. Then, gently pull and wiggle the pump to release it out of where it is held in the plastic reservoir body. It just pulls forward.Lastly, gently wiggle and pull the pump out from the rubber gasket. It's held in by nothing but a tight fit. With that done, I recommend you carefully pull out the rubber gasket (best done by someone with small hands). This will allow you to check the gasket for damage and flush out the reservoir. The installation of the new pump is just the reverse steps. It took me a while to figure out how to get the old pump out, but now that I know what I'm doing, I could easily do the whole replacement in less than 10 minutes, if I take my time.

This is exactly what the original part looks like with actual fit and compatibility. Worked well with my 2018 Ford F-150. After installing, I tried turning on the windshield wiper/washer and nothing is happening and then I realized the hood was open. I closed the hood and there it was working like new. Installation was easy after removing the wheel cover, it was easily exposed and very accessible.

Its a real Motorcraft part and a perfect replacement for my 2015 F150 pump which failed all of a sudden. Took about 20 minutes to replace and sprays much better than the original. Old part made in china, new is made in Mexico.Watch a couple of you tube videos on how to loosen the RS wheel well liner to provide access to the pump.

One thing I've learned from years of buying on Amazon, is that when it comes to car parts, cheaper is almost always not better. That is why I try to buy OEM for non generic parts. This part fit perfectly and works as it should.

Was concerned when pump arrived outside of box inside envelope, but it seems to work well so far.

Easy install if you have basic mechanical skills. Remove the screws from the front of the inner wheel liner and fold it back to access the pump. There are multiple YouTube videos outlining how to do it. Took 30 minutes or less.

Genuine Motorcraft and easy to install. Note that it does not include a grommet, but the old one was fine. I was able to put it in without removing the wheel or completely removing the wheel liner, but it was tight working in there. Obviously turn the wheel all the way to the left first. Side-note that the part was much smaller than I was expecting, but it was exactly like the old one.

I received item and noted a couple small pieces of broken plastic inside OEM box. The pump looked fine until I looked closer and noticed what appears to be a plastic pin (looking at original picture) which I figured is used to secure pump to liquid reservoir. I'm hoping it may still be usable. Otherwise, it looks fine. I suspect inspection missed this issue prior to shipping. Good luck 🤞
