This is an exact Motorcraft replacement part for the original part installed in my ‘96 Ford Bronco. Like anything under the dash/instrument panel, it’s a little difficult to work on, but the part fit perfectly. It took approx. 15 minutes to remove the old one and install this one (thanks to a YouTube video I watched). The part works as designed. I hope it lasts as long as the original!

Amazing how this simple light part rendered my truck totally undrivable. My truck wouldn’t shift out of park; brake lights work but no movement on the shift column. Turns out the old stoplight switch was a cheap knockoff, this was a genuine Motorcraft part with “Ford†stamped right on the part. Perfect part, 1 minute replacement, I now have my truck back. Shipping took 3 days, A+.
