95 mustang gt . Took me 10 minutes to swap this . Remove the speaker itself ,not the housing that it sits in . reach in , unplug the old one and push it out of the door . Push this one back in and reconnect . Piece of cake ! Same as OEM , nearly exact so the fit is perfect , it snaps in tight and fixed my issue .

This is the oem 1998 ford mustang gt door jamb switch. I bought one and thought it was wrong as you see in pictures. Then re-ordered it and it was the correct. Be careful when removing the switch as the cable will/could fall into the door space. I removed window switch plastic and about 7 screws. One on door panel-to-car, two on window switch backside itself, and 4 for door speaker to feed wire back through jamb switch hole. Closed the door fully and it conformed itself to position of old switch. Functions as it should and I don’t anticipate problems.

Just pull the old one out from the inside front door. Separate old one from the wire connector and push the new one in and snap back into the door.
