Mounting holes on casting for mounting wiper motor to linkage frame were not tapped. This is a Ford-Motorcraft part manufactured in Mexico according to factory sealed box it was in. Two holes in casting were not tapped 6mmx1. thread. I fix machinery for a living so I have the tools to make it correct. Amazon would have said to return part. How many other parts are not finished? I needed my truck fixed as the wipers did not work.

Unit requires threaded holes for installation. Unit came without threaded holes, have to tap to install or wait for return/replacement. Reading other reviews this seems to be an issue.

came with no treads like a couple said here, I just used the bolts and retreaded the 2 holes like it was prom night. All good seriously.Will be good until the wiper linkage seeze up again in 3 years.

I should have paid attention to the other reviews. The mounting holes were not threaded. And they charged me 13$ to return it, this was not mentioned in the return policy. I am so tired of being ripped off. If a real human reads this how about giving me the money back.
