When the Master Cylinder Reservoir sprung a leak, I replaced it with one that did not have a clutch line. The stock brakes are setup this way, and so was the new Chase Bays M/C.Unfortunately that line to the reservoir tends to cause leaks. So I used this motorcycle M/C reservoir to separate the clutch line from the brake M/C.Works perfectly. There are other motorcycle M/Cs that would probably work, but this one was a bit bigger, and quite easy to mount.

Had to work the hoses around the master cylinder. Not a big issue. The bracket is very weak in my opinion, it’s extremely easy to bend which is nice for customizing but may be susceptible to breaking.

You would be better off using zip ties than the supplied clamps. I kept noticing extremely soft brake lever and then realized the clamps weren’t keeping pressure in the line. Replace the clamps solved it.

I've been purchasing a number of parts off amazon for the restoration of my 2002 GSX-R750, and I haven't reviewed any of them because they've been exactly as advertised: cheap Asian knock-offs or remakes. This, however, is an exception; the rubber hose included with this brake cylinder cracked after just over a month of instalation. The hose leaked fluid. This is a brand new part, and it's crazy that even something as cheap as this can fail at the rubber hose. One of the only causes of sudden and major brake failure is faulty brake hoses, and this I cannot look past. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, as most reviews are either overall positive or negative, but in the orientation this brake cylinder will be installed, the bend in the hose WILL cause cracking and you WILL lose brake pressure, resulting in failure. The only question is when. Excersise caution with this product; the cylinder itself is otherwise fine and if you use the original hose (should it be in acceptable condition) or purchase new brake hose which is resistant to bending, it's probably fine. But don't trust the rubber.

The reservoir is nice and sturdy, however the bracket will be useless and you will need to make your own. Bracket is so soft you can bend it with a pinky or a small bump will leave it crooked.
