I got this unit today and mounted it onto my Scorpian modular helmet. Mounting it was not too difficult. It Looks great & Feels well built. It securely sticks to the side of your helmet via a plastic clip. This allows you to easily remove the unit while the base stays on the helmet. Sound quality is great and is plenty loud. Also delivers great bass. In my case, it paired with my iPhone immediately with no problem. At first I was a bit apprehensive about buying this unit because some reviews say it is not loud enough or sound quality is poor. In my experience neither is the case. After trying mine out, I think they might have received some defective units. You can control the volume from your phone or on the unit itself. This headset has 2 modes, one is Bluetooth & the other is intercom. You can operate in one or the other mode at one time. You cannot operate Bluetooth & Intercom at the same time which actually makes sense. In intercom mode, you cannot listen to music on your phone or use the phone. In Bluetooth mode, you cannot use the intercom. Switching between the two modes is manual but simple. You have to press one button. Switching between the two modes is not automatic. I don’t know if more expensive units allow intercom & blue tooth operate at the same time. I wonder if you are in Bluetooth mode and your buddy wants to communicate on intercom, do you get a notification to prompt you to switch over to intercom. I also like positioning of the buttons on the unit as they are well separated and prevent accidental pressing of the wrong button. The only thing that is a bit of a nuisance is that the volume buttons on top are a bit too hard to press. Overall, this unit serves my purpose better than expected. I recommend this item and would buy again.

This is a great price for a helmet headset, but the speakers are absolutely monstrous. I ended up making these work and I am changing my one star review to 4 star. The overall product is solid, and there is acceptable volume levels given the size of the speakers. If you have a tight fitting helmet, I would recommend looking for another product, or realize this may take some modification to the padding in your helmet to get the speakers to fit. It is super simple to pare to your phone, and all the functions work well with iPhone except the hey Siri function. You will need to long press the button to activate your assistant. Overall, you can't really go wrong for a helmet headset under $30. I didn't come to this product expecting to be in awe with the quality or functionality. But here we are with a solid 4 star review.

It have a great sound for listen music in your helmet but the bluethoot is bad, with my phone in my pants pocket while I'm riding my bike , the music cuts and make some interfearance and it is the same with the intercom function when I am with my chaperone

This has to be one of the most underrated products on Amazon. I got it for $20 on Amazon Prime day and I can't believe how good it is. The volume level is fine. At least as good as my airpods and now I don't have to worry about them falling out.The bluetooth phone calling is so-so. When I make a call they can hear me just fine. My wife's voice on the other end, however, was choppy and in-and-out. Not good, but at least I know if I have an emergency I will be able to relay the problem and they can hear me, even if I don't understand them. My wife said she couldn't hear the roar of my motorcycle during the call either which is good and surprising. I'm not going to complain for $20. I plan on buying another pair for my daughters helmet to try out the intercom when the price drops to $20 again.The package contained the unit, boom mic, and speaker set up. It was not just the unit with the other items sold separately as the description makes it look.

For $24 this is hard to beat. My son has 2 Cardo systems and he just replaced old headphones with another highly rated brand for $40. These sound just as good. With this size speaker you are not going to get a lot of base but it gets plenty loud and is clear. I am actually going attach some Sony headphones to this to get a little more base. Wire splicing is a pain but worth it.4 stars is really due to the fact that it only comes with stick on base plate. No clip on option. I would recommend this device to anyone looking to add speakers to their helmet.

We know that in this price we cannot get a good quality or sound quality headphones. However here is the chance! Cheap but useful, it can change color of it also, I love it! Easy to setup and use it!

Sound quality for music is good. Much better than my name brand but entry level Scala unit.Bluetooth auto-pairing is good.That's all that's good. The intercom function between two units (both riders on same bike) is worthless. So much background static and noise that you can't hear anything unless you're stopped and there's no wind noise.The buttons are immensely hard to press. This is unsafe.The buttons require multiple presses for basic functions. Coupled with the above, this is very unsafe. It's extremely difficult to use any functions on this.There are better ways to save money than on this unit.

I didn’t want to spend a lot on something I’m probably going to break and this is perfect. I ordered two, one for me and one for my best friend so we can talk while we ride. I haven’t tested the intercom yet, but the Bluetooth works good so far! Quality is pretty good sound wise on both.The mic is a bit of a tight fit and there definitely is a bit of a wire mess I ended up just tucking into my neck strap. I just don’t think my helmet is the best shape for it, but I managed. I also managed to make it unremovable from the clip unless I break it. I did think the headphones provided didn’t work at first, but I was just silly and didn’t plug it in all the way. Make sure you plug it in all the way!
