This made a huge difference in the contact surface. Anyone who has parked on asphalt in the summer knows how vital a wide stand base is. Definitely a must-have item for a bike.

Almost didn’t fit my kickstand, my kickstands foot was a little thick and also too small. But it just barely works and I’m hoping the screws keep it locked in there tightly. So far it works as advertised and my bike feels more stable when parking.

I could not get this to fit on my KLR-650 or my TaoTao DB14 . Both would require me to grind down some of the existing pad on the kick stand. I will do that to my KLR when the weather warms up.The machining looks really nice. I got the gray so it will go with any color scheme, and I know some colors change when they are out in the UV. (My anodized black foot pedals are now a chocolatey brown color, actually looks kinda cool)The plate comes with a little rubber pad, no adhesive, I suppose to keep this plate from rattling. I guess you're supposed to put the rubber pad on the bottom of your old kickstand foot, so the bolts have some spring tension when tightening down.

Nicely machined and simple product that is easier to buy than it is to make. As a universal fit, I will need to get the grinder out and shave the edges off of my BMW F650 kickstand pad to make this fit. Not a worry since the bike's pad is smooth and tends to want to slide a bit and the new one has some gripping edges as seen in the photo. My only gripe is there are no instructions so I'm left to my own prior experience to decide if I need to add thread locker and possibly file the bottom edges to be a bit sharper. Having some idea of the best practice for retaining the piece and not having it bounce down the highway would have been nice. I like it.
