If you need a phone pouch for your motorcycle, this one will work well. But if you need a tank bag, look elsewhere. This item is just too tiny to be of much use for almost anything else.I tested it at home but not on a motorcycle yet. The magnets grip well in a controlled environment but they are not as strong as the magnets in my 20 year old tank bag. Plus it really needs a flat surface where all six magnets have a firm grip in order to remain stable. My photo shows the tank bag with a medium size phone inside attached to the door of my refrigerator. It should be okay on a motorcycle at speed, but please test it first with a noncritical item inside. Behind a fairing would help too. The phone was easy to control through the plastic viewing window with bare fingers. I'm not sure how easy phone control would be when wearing conductive gloves while in motion.The leather strap is not the best quality. It is sewn together from more than two pieces of leather and has some noticeable wrinkles and seams in several places. If you choose to carry it with you inside the bag it will take up just about all of the available storage space. You should fill the storage space with something however for two important reasons. Your phone will need something to support it from underneath in order to operate it without the case flexing. Also, the nice metal zipper is much easier to operate when the bag is fully expanded.As a tank bag, there isn't much available room inside and it is hard to access. Even something as simple as paper road maps are too long to fit inside. I will probably just use this to keep a small spray bottle and cleaning rag inside and put printed route directions in the viewing window.

Looks great! However, those magnets are not strong enough. Literally, it fell off my bike on the highway and I lost my garage door opener. So, not exactly happy with it
