All I did was thread in my mirror and the medal broke. The bolt was the correct size, I wasn’t forcing it, just hand tightening. Don’t waste your time.

They are kinda cheap feeling but a real quick way to add a mirror mount. I did file the top where the mirror screws in flat, it was a rough casting.

Great for attaching mirrors to handlebars. All bicycle frames are different, but I was able to use some of them to attach batteries to the rear of my bicycle frame. The threaded portion is a metric thread, either M4 or M5 not sure of the size.

Nothing needs to be high tech on these units. They are offered in 8mm and 10mm threads for the mirrors so they fit most any mirror set. To be honest I didn't use them for their intended use. A taller handlebar for my Kawasaki Z650 required a change in my Suzuki ADV-SV650 windshield hardware. I used the 8mm thread version to remount the windshield mounts to the 7/8" handlebar diameter. So be aware that if you have the more standard 7/8" diameter handlebar, these little mirror mounts can serve as alternate mounts for other hardware or accessories as the threaded hole is the very common 8mm X 1.25 or 10mm X 1.25.

Busted the first one as the aluminum is cheap Chinese pot metal. I only needed one of these so I was extra careful with the second one and it held up. I guess it's "good enough" given the price but definitely not high quality.
