This "TINGPAI Motorcycle Tank Bag Universal Waterproof Oxford Fabric with Strong Magnetic" tank bag is smaller than I thought it would be but fits way better than my old giant tank bag. I love the clear window to hold a phone displaying maps. This bag is great for essentials on day trips or fun rides. I don't usually travel on my motorcycle, so I'm not looking for an overnight bag type of thing. On my bike, those types of bags usually slide around too much anyway. The magnets on the bottom of this are super strong so you don't really need additional straps, but there is a shoulder strap with this bag that could also double as a backup strap in case you're worried about losing it on the road. I think this can hold most of what you'd need or want on a day trip. It has enough room to put a few things from a shop you visit while out riding around, or a lunch you packed for a trip somewhere remote. I usually like to carry a hoodie and an extra pair of gloves in colder weather or leave it empty if you want to strip off some layers as it gets warmer. Super useful bag, if you don't have saddle bags, this is a must have, if you already have big bags, this one is a great option for those smaller trips. Easy to install and take with you, highly recommend.

I've used tank bags in the past and I wanted a new one for my R1 as I've donated or thrown away my old one a decade ago. This has about 5 strong magnets that wrap around my tank on my R1 pretty well. Motorcycle gas tanks are very odd shapes so having more magnets is good since in reality not all 5 of them will have a strong grip. I found this to work really well on my tank and I don't need the straps to help secure it unless I was filling this with bricks or milk or something. The clear case on the top works well for my phone or even a small kindle if you needed. I got the 10L one which is a good small size but not big enough to fit a laptop or anything (which would be nice for work). I think I was in the middle as I didn't want anything too big or bulky so didn't want the 29L unit and the smaller unit was way way too small, really only good for tools.Overall I am very happy wtih this and find this to work well for my needs to carry little things and the ability to grab it and go as needed to avoid theft.

I often ride with a 30L waterproof tail bag, packed tight and all strapped down. It does not let me keep things handy and doesn't remove easily to take into a restroom or something. This makes me nervous if I need to stop. For this reason, I've been looking at adding another bag to my options. I also tried a backpack for comparison. They give accurate measurements in the listing, but I really underestimated the size of this thing. It has four pockets. The big main compartment is mostly just free for all, with a pair of mesh Velcro pockets fit tightly along the length of each side. There is also a zipper along the bottom perimeter of the bag; this lets it expand the main compartment by about 2" in height. I can fit a pair of size 13 sneakers, a change of shirt, socks, and underwear in there. Then there are two side pockets, which easily fit a 16.9 bottled water each. And, finally there's the see through pocket on top meant for your phone. I have a phone mount, so i don't really plan to use that, but options are always nice to have. The magnets are great. They are inside padded fabric and will not scratch the paint or anything. MEverything about the bag seems fist rate. Sturdy from top to bottom, including a nice strong carry handle. I like the reflective strips - anything to add visibility is great. So, how did this compare to the backpack? As long as I don't need more space this wins easily. The backpack probably offers 2-3x the space. However, I ride in the heat most days and the backpack takes away airflow, which is very undesirable. How well this fits may be affected by your bike. It fits great on the handful of bikes I tried it on except my C50t. The c50t has its display there, I hate it. Why would I wanna look down to see my speed? This bag can mount on top that, but its not very elegant. other than that it was easy to mount onto any tank.Very cool bag.

I picked up this magnetic tank bag for use on my 2002 Suzuki Vstrom DL1000 and am very pleased with how well it works. The bag is well made and features a lot of storage. There are multiple zipper pockets for holding a variety of objects. I find that although the zippers are not name brand they function well and I have not had any binding issues with them. The bag fits my gas tank well and is able to be held in place with all four magnets. The bottom magnets can be placed as shown in the description photos while the upper two magnets are left under the bag since my gas tank has plastic fairing covering the top. There is a strap with a buckle to secure the bag to the handlebars that I use. This bag grips the tank tightly and has not slipped around on me one bit while riding these last few weeks.I highly recommend this tank bag for anyone looking for soft luggage for their motorcycle. I find this particular bag to be well made and large enough to hold most of what I need to transport during my daily commute. The bag grips the tank tightly with the included 4 magnets.

Hadgigh hopes bc this looked of good quality. But, alas it ripped my first time using it and also lost a magnet. It's thin on the wings and magnets are too weak to hold on windy days.
