Product came in a package that appeared to have already been opened. It was likely returned already. It only picked up sounds periodically, with most sounds (regardless of how loud) not being transmitted at all. We could have a screaming baby and not know it. Very cheap, possibly defective. I am surprised Motorola would allow their name to be put on such a poor product. DO NOT waste your money.ADDITIONALLY the microphone is NOT battery operated. Only the portable speaker. We purchased this to use for camping, if it had worked to begin with it would NOT have been useful away from a 15amp power source. IT HAS TO BE PLUGGED IN to use.

I like this since it can be used without wifi. It’s not the loudest, but loud enough to wake us up at night. For the price, you can’t beat it. Only downside was that it’s incredibly lightweight so it falls over easily, however we secured it with a little command strip to prevent this.

This item worked ok the first day but now the receiver doesn’t seem to hear anything. I even plugged them in near each other so I could talk in the one and see if I could hear anything, it didn’t pick up anything. Very bad value, I would not recommend wasting your money on this.

This unit isn’t the best. It loses signal intermittently throughout the day. It’s pretty clear when it’s working though

These work very well. Got them to monitor our downstairs dogs so we could hear them if they started crying to go out. The range is excellent going through walls and floor. Sound is good and can even hear the heat pump when it starts and stops without it being on the highest setting.

We plugged in, as the limited instructions showed and we heard a small sound. We adjusted the volume and then heard nothing. We couldn't get it to work. Spend a little more to get better quality.

we are using this for elder monitoring approx 50 feet, states it is good through 1000 feet. At 50 feet we had our person scream at the top of his lungs and could barely hear it.This is not safe since the volume was up at the highest and was almost inaudible.There was no physical interference or background sound to deflect the elders voice.

The device is not loud enough. I can not hear my dad when he needs me
