My initial impressions when unpacking the box were not good. I had to wipe a bit of rust off the painted surfaces of almost all pieces, the wrapping was brown in spots from the rust. Fortunately it wiped down easily and I couldn't find any noticeable rust spots...odd. Would probably have been rated with 5 stars if there hadn't been a few slightly bent pieces and multiple bolt holes that had been tapped at the wrong angle and caused the bolts to look odd, with a few requiring a bit of work on my end to get the bolts to thread correctly. Speaking of bolts, my kit had bent screws and a few bolts that had not been machined properly, with no holes in the head of the bolt to use the allen wrench. The good news is they give extras of almost every part, including the feet. I had left over bolts and screws for each part of the assembly even with the bad ones tossed in the trash. The finished product looks great, and was big enough to hold my giant Y-wing and AT-AT Lego models (see pics).

Item arrived in good condition and without damage. For packing they placed the glass in the middle of the parts so as to offer the most protection.I found the assembly reasonably. I thought he instructions for lights mounting were OK but a little vague.The reason for a star deduct was fit and finish. The metal mesh on the sides is fine on two panels and not flat but bowed awkwardly on two other panels. One hole was stripped and some screw holes had slag/debris that did not allow easy screw starting. The back panels are held on by self tapping screws and washers. I think regular sheet metal screws would have been better since a hole already existed. Using the self tapping screw widened that hole and made for a sloppy fit and and easy to overtighten or strip. I would recommend to assemble with hand tools and NOT a power screw driver or impact.The finished product looks good and makes a nice display shelf for collectibles, or models in my case. The remote control seems finicky and you have to be really close and "hold your mouth just right" for it to work.The finished product looks so great, I can overlook most everything I complained about above. 4 stars.

For one person, it can be a little frustrating to put together (it was for me), but still not of great difficulty. I would recommend an extra pair of hands, if possible. Fortunately, I have a very convenient driver that greatly increases the ease with which I can assemble things like this. The instructions are fairly clear (especially for anyone that has assembled their own furniture before). One can definitely develop a knack for these things...This is especially nice for someone that wants to highlight nick-nacks and such. The glass is VERY sturdy, but I'm a bit dubious with respect to the mounts. So far, so good, and the mounts provided keep the glass in place, very well. The possibility of the glass slipping out is GREATLY reduced.Once constructed, I have to admit it feels far more solid than others of the same type I've tried. The aesthetics are a subjective matter, but my $0.02: BEAUTIFUL.While the price may seem a bit high to some, I don't really consider this unless it's ridiculously high ore unbelievably low. I have to go with five stars, on this.

Great shelving unit, perfect for displaying various figures. The lights add an extra effect really displaying your items. The assembly was fairly easy. Personally, it is a little bit higher priced than other shelving units. Overall, pretty good unit.Recommended

I love the way it looks, it was just kind of a pain to assemble. Some parts didn't quite align too well, so that's worth a star. Other than that the build is very nice, great rgb colors, is very sturdy and an OK value.
