INSTALLATION
Remove the old frame.
Grind smooth cross section and clean.
Slip over your rear crossmember, then weld it.
- Driver and Passenger side rear shackle mount repair pieces fit for Jeep Wrangler YJ 1987-1995.
- YJ shackle mount frame rust repair kit made of high strength 10 gauge steel and Zinc-coated surface treatment effectively prevents rust, prolongs the service life, does not affect the welding at all.
- This will fix the areas right below the rear body mounts of your Jeep where rot typically occurs.
- Rear Shackle Mount Frame Repair measures 20". Thicker than your existing frame.

You see this area on these jeeps rusted out quite a bit. We cleaned the original frame up at attachment/weld points and these fit perfectly. With welds smoothed about and the frame painted you can’t tell a difference. It’s held up well in our driving since too.

Fit very well. Installed suprizingly easy. I'll do a slight mod when I do the second side. They are perfect for the application.....

I have not had these installed yet however the quality looks good. It came and good Packaging. The metal definitely field strong and the guy at the auto body shop that are going to put it on for me did say that it looks like a good product. I definitely would recommend this piece if you have major frame rust
