I was pleasantly surprised at how nice these shams are given the price of them. They are soft stitched together nicely, no stray threads everywhere. There is a fold over enclosure so pillows don’t hang out & they fit true to size. Nothing worse than ordering a set of shams & when they arrive pillows do not fit although you ordered correct size. I ordered them in black & was well aware that they could easily attract lint, dust, hair & surprisingly it hasn’t been all that much of an issue. I use them on a day bed that serves as a couch & it gets a lot of use , so far it’s all good. Very pleased with purchase.The 4 Star rating is simply for the fact that these are not Egyptian Cotton but that isn’t what I purchased or expected. For price point & how they have been thus far ( have not washed yet ) they are great

I got this to cover a body pillow that is serving as a “back†to a daybed. It needed to be functional and decorative. The color is a beautiful soft sage, and the little Pom Pom trim is just right! A slightly whimsical boho touch.Yes, it is fairly thin, but my pillow’s pattern doesn’t show through it in any discerning way. I am super happy with this purchase, and will probably buy another for my other pillow in my room!

I bought these in a few colors and am satisfied. I also bought a body pillow at the same time. I found these too small for the body pillow and extremely difficult to merge the two as one. Finally the pillow was sausaged into the cover but the pillow ultimately turned and bunched inside never to be straitened. I decide to swap out the body pillow with another I already had. The case went on easily and fits much looser. The case seems bigger now,’cause the pillow is smaller :P. The bigger is better than the tighter IMO. I’m using it as a backrest on a love seat.The fabric is thin. It reminds me more of a fabric used for sheets. I forget if this is sold as a velvet. If it is…it’s not a velvet. It’s not velvet like. It is a thin sheet like cloth, with pompons.I’ve not washed the cover yet. I cannot speak to pilling or pompon entanglement, but I will be hand washing.I’ve seen comments that this is a pillow sham more than a case. I would agree with this. I bought and use for more of a decorative purpose.I’m satisfied with the pillow cases but I think they are not quite as described. I’d say they are more for a decorative purpose. Choose with caution and I think you will be satisfied. My bed body pillow, I use everyday, has a very nice, hardy, soft, velvety, side zip case. This pompon case is not as nice for sleeping.
