It's a great assortment and I was able to get the combination I needed. (to hold a microphone on a stand) But the metal is very very light and eventually the stem broke off.PROS: real metal, big assortment so you can find a combination you needCONS: fragile and can break

I bought this to mount my SM58 to a short boom stand using the Shure A55M shockmount. It had exactly the adapter I needed, though now I don't know what I'm going to do with all of the other ones included. I suppose I'll just hang onto them until the need arises, but part of me does wish you could just buy the individual adapter you need.

The number, assortment, and quality of these adapters are terrific. It makes finding one or two that will allow you to adapt your tripods, booms, mounts, etc., to take a different size device.An unexpected bonus is that you can keep the set together in one piece by screwing them into each other.

One of the pairs of adapters is perfect for mounting the Blue Yeti microphone to a UNC 1/4-20 tripod thread. Great way to get the mic onto a stand and off the desk.
