I love my Oreck but the hose was really short and I had to hold the canister all the time. I got this replacement hose and it fits perfectly. The added length to the hose makes doing things like my stairs so much easier. Good product and works well!

After many years my Oreck canister vacuum hose cracked open. Glad a found a replacement hose on Amazon. Fits perfectly, but seems to be a little heavier than the original hose which is the only y reason I only gave 4 stars. Overall, I am very happy with hose. It saved me from having to discard my canister vacuum. Recommend?

This Oreck hand held vac sucks w/o this hose. The short hose that comes with this vac is too short. Also bought a Hoover PortaPower for a comparison. Hoover is worse. The only reason I kept the Hoover is because I had purchased one in the late 80’s and had an old longer hose. Hoover does not offer a longer hose. DO NOT BUY IT unless you like a short hose. If you purchase the Oreck, purchase the after market hose.
