I purchased this as a gift for my good friend who his mother had passed away. He had the option of putting the ashes inside. Which he opt out of and I'm okay with that. The appearance is very good. I love this! Would probably be better to superglue the screwed in part after putting ashes in to prevent from twisting off but other than that it is durable and good quality
