I installed one of these on the driver side header which had blown. That gasket also blew right away. I found that the gasket was sitting too low so I made it stay up a bit higher and it sealed up and has been just fine for a long time now.

Those header gasket it only last 2 weeks is leaking.waste of money...need to replaced them again

Designed to slid in place if you have studs on each side. This is the only gasket I purchase has good sealing and a fair price. My headers come off once per year and I buy these gaskits.

Had an issue with the gaskets that came with my 318 small block headers, the gasket that came was metal and wouldn't adhere to the heads which created a exhaust leak, ordered these which came in about a week 1/2 or so had the mechanic put on and Bam no more exhaust leak, works like a charm

These were nice and soft and sealed right up. I like them. Not really the re-usable type though. Just so you know.

Put these on my race 318. Good quality and thickness. No shaving needed to make it fit. If you have ported heads you can cut them so they are port matched but that's on you.
