How do you review a 6 volt power adapter? You plug it in the wall and 6 volt power comes out the other end! In all fairness, it does work well, and seems to have the lasting power output to run the fan on the Big Buddy Heater without over heating the transformer. I gave it 4 stars because of the price, but then, the male plug to fit the heater is a small size, not common to most charger/converters. The name of the game is to eliminate the need to constantly replace batteries if you, in fact, want to run the fan on the heater! I guarantee you, you will want to run the fan to get the maximum heat output and to better circulate the air - at least on the initial warm up! "Nuff said! Go ahead and buy one! You won't be disappointed!

I purchased a Mr. Heater Big Buddy Heater several years ago. I never used it often but when I did it always did what I needed. Over the years I lost the power cord. I ran the fan on batteries but using it so seldom the batteries became corroded. My solution was to buy a new power cord. This is an exact replacement for the one I lost.

Purchased this to power, my Mr. heater, big buddy fan (which I purchased and installed separately), plugged it in and tested it out. Worked like a champ. Threw away the packaging. The next morning, I fired up my heater in my shop, turned on the fan switch, and no dice. I then tested the fan with new batteries, fan works fine. Pulled out my multimeter tester, plugged the transformer in and tested for voltage or amperage… Nothing. Just ordered another one from a different manufacturer. if I still had the original packaging, this sucker would be the fastest return Amazon ever received. I’m glad it was inexpensive.

A must have for the Big Buddy heater.Though the heater is a fantastic addition to my garage/man-cave/dog house, it was TRULY Better with the fan running.By moving the air around you certainly get the best efffect of the fantastic heat that this "system" puts out, while being extremely efficient.I do not find the advertised rate of runnig this heater to be an exageration.Fantastic Big Buddy "System".Purchase the 12 ft, quick disconnect hose, move the tanks outside, free up floor space, and purchase the power source for the fan, and you will have a high quality, reliable, economical, portable heating system.Worth every $, in my opinion.

With this little gizzy-ma-goo powering the fan, the fan spins way faster and blows air out much more air. This greatly increases the heat circulation and warms up the room much faster. A definite must have to heat your home!Well worth the money and no more need to buy D cell batteries!!
