I bought this for an entry runner that my dog was pushing all around when she ran and rolled. I searched quite a bit to find a tape that was economical, easy to use, came up easily and held carpet down. This hits all those marks. Half the cost of others, super easy to put on your rug. Has a pull off backing and my regular scissors could easily cut it. It so far hasn't caused any carpet damage. And it holds tight. On my 8 ft runner I only put it on the ends and surprisingly it's held the runner down even with a running, skidding dog. And it stays down during vacuuming!! update- I recently removed the carpet and the tape easily removed from the carpet back, it was a little harder to get off my wood floor. I'd suggest pulling very slowly to avoid damage to your floor. When I pulled the tape quickly it ripped the finish off of my floor, but as long as I went slowly it was fine. I still highly recommend this tape.

Carpet tape is very useful for woodworking, and this works very well at a good price. Has a good hold while still being easy to remove.

So this tape is great and does what it’s supposed to do for sure. I used it on a 5x7 rug and had everything done in 10-15 min. Can take a full grown GSD running across it constantly, never moved an inch.Deducted 1 star because they need to warn you… it is SO hard to remove! We have vinyl flooring in our apartment and I am praying whoever comes to clean those floors is able to remove the tape.Other than that, great stuff.

I do not write reviews, this is my 1st. I just wanted too comment that this tape actually works. It has adhered to the items in my hold and sticks STRONGLY. I would buy this product again. Great job guys!

I attached plastic strips to my area rug and used the tape to attach them to the leaguered hardwood floor. That was done to prevent the rug from mooving when my 80lb dog run around. The connection was good for about 1-2 months then the tape started moving and the rug moved from it's original position. Will have to look for something better.

Used this on runner carpets for a dog. They don't slide around at all stuck really well to the floor
