This package looked like it sat on a shelf in a Chinese warehouse for the last 20 years, then was run over by a forklift before being shipped to me. But the price is right. Steel squares are better. A few minutes with a file should make these OK as spares.

Numbers embossed on these are a little clunky, not very precise, but adequate to get the job done. I’m a draftsman and like really, really precise markings, these will pass muster on most jobs.

Pack of 2 rafter squares. One was nearly perfect. The other had irregular edges. I filed the edges, so the square is usable. I am not excited about these are they are thin and liable to bend if one is not careful. But then again plastic one break. I gave 3 stars because of the rough edges and the thin body.
