Works well, the lock is easy to use and doesn’t get stuck like some others. It feels durable and sturdy and it’s a great size. It’s design is great because it’s not so big that it doesn’t fit in my hand but it’s not tiny either.

I dont usually do reviews but this one is worth it. I expected this to be a small tape measure and flimsy. This is not professional grade but darn close! The only engineering suggestion I would make is to make the button to hold the tape in place either bigger or higher for those if us with small hands.

Overall love this measuring tape, here are the pros and cons:PROS:-Super easy to read extra large numbers, great if you forgot your glasses!-Mechanism is smooth, glides easily, seems well madeCONS:-Only has inches, no centimeters. I miss being able to pull out the tape to see how big a certain amount of centimeters will be. In this world of the internet where we can buy things marketed only in centimeters, this means I first have to do the calculation (2.54 cm per inch) and then pull out the tape measure to see how that size looks (or use a diff tape measure that does have centimeters).-This is a large-in-the-hand tape measure with a solid weight to it. I have a mini tape measure that seems a bit handier when I’m on the go (but not nearly as easy to read). So if you flea market this will add some bulk and weight to your tote bag. On the other hand, it is super easy to read!Bottom Line: I wish they had put centimeters in smaller print along the bottom edge, but other than that this is a smoothly functioning super easy to read and use tape measure. I included a photo in this review so you can see how easy it is to read. I hope this review is useful to you :)
