This umbrella is a 10/10. It very sturdy and great for the price. I used it all day walking around campus with heavy rains and very strong winds it did the job!! I definitely recommend this umbrella better than some higher end

I bought this umbrella for a trip to Japan since I wanted a compact umbrella that was purple. Although it is compact and reasonably lightweight, I did not know that it cannot be reopened unless it has been completed closed - something VERY inconvenient when going in and out of places often which is common when traveling and sightseeing. So first you press the close button, then you have to press the umbrella all the way down before you can press the open button again. Also, I found that it leaked a little, possible due to the wind flaps.UPDATE: Seller kindly offered me a refund when they saw I was less than completely happy with the product.

Very happy with my purchase. Seem to be nice quality and very sturdy when opened. Love the bigger coverage - big enough to protect 2 people! No more flimsy umbrellas for me! This one is really nice.

I'd say this umbrella has a decent build quality. After taking it out twice, I think a part inside the umbrella came loose and started rattling around the handle. I stopped the handle rattle by taking it apart and removing the loose piece, but it was difficult to reassemble because of the spring loaded compression mechanism. Additionally the shaft extending to umbrella canopy was a little wobbly from the start, so if you want something that feels sturdy, you should probably try another product. Also, in sunlight, there are areas of the canopy that are slightly more transparent making it seem either poorly dyed or thinner.That being said, it does pretty well with keeping water off of you, and handles well in moderately windy weather.overall, I'd give it 3.5 stars. If they got the dye and rattle taken care of, this would be a much better product.

Acheté pour la commodité du bouton-poussoir pour l'ouverture et la fermeture. L'ouverture fonctionne très bien mais la fermeture ne fonctionne pas du tout avec le bouton.
