Fit perfectly, no complaints with the product , however it did not fix my problem! I have more issues in the heater box itself! A Mitsubishi inherent problem!

Nothing special, just a factory part, but this with the gears make for a great replacement for the original heater control knob cable that bends and doesn't move when you turn the knob. Good price and shipped quickly. Was a good diy project for an easy to do fix for a common Evo 8 problem.

Worked on my 2003 lancer OZ. The knob is still on the hard side but it actually works now. The mechanism/gears below have been revised and are different looking than the OEM Mitsubishi part but those are sold seperately. Pair the revised gears with this cable and most likely it would be much smoother however, just using this cable works as well. Not sure if it will eventually stretch out again but it gets the job done and only takes about an hour to install.
