The knobs fell of good quality. They fit correctly and snug grip feels good. I used them in conjunction with some rivnutz and they worked great.

One day after a storm that shredded the canvas roof off of it, I realized that one of the legs holding a corner of the gazebo itself was missing at least 3 of the thumb nuts it came with. I searched all over the ground around the grill gazebo and could not find ONE of them! These thumb nuts solved that problem and now I have extras should any others go missing. Very good to have on hand if you do have an item that uses these connectors.

I like that these are rather small in diameter and do not protrude beyond my 1" x 1". I will be using these to attach plumbing modules to 10 series extruded aluminum. I want the base to be easily removed so I choose to have this knob. The other application is to secure brackets to wood so I will be pairing this with a t-nut. The knob mated well with both my t-nut in wood and aluminum rail. This is a work in progress. I do not know how sturdy this would be for a heavy duty application. I am not sure about the description that this would work for an umbrella as my patio umbrella has at least a M8 or 5/16 screw - this is 1/4-20 close to M6 and only 1/2 in long.

These quarter inch screws with knob drive are properly manufactured and of good quality. The plastic knob seems pretty dense and non-brittle, something like a bakelite plastic. A ten pack of the one inch version is currently priced at eight dollars (after digital coupon) which represents a reasonable value for a specialty fastener such as this.Rating this product five stars thus for quality and reasonable value.
